I am a Senior BIM Manager position within your esteemed organization. With over three decades of experience in the AEC industry, including more than 18 years specializing in BIM management, bring strategic leadership, cross-disciplinary coordination, and digital expertise that consistently enhance project delivery, quality, and innovation.

Since 1988, I have gained comprehensive experience across architectural, structural, civil, and interior design. My passion for 3D environments and Architectural Engineering led me to adopt Building Information Modeling early in its emergence. I formalized this expertise through a core course in Autodesk Revit Architecture in 2007, and I have since become a certified BIM Manager and Autodesk Revit Certified Professional.

 

Current Role:

As of December 2024, I have been leading BIM operations at AZHAR Holding Company in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. My responsibilities include:

• Managing BIM strategy and workflows for the AMAN HEGRA RESORT project in Al-Ula in alignment with the EIR and ISO 19650.
• Delivering accurate as-built documentation for the Al Masar Project in Muzdalifah.
• Training and mentoring engineering teams on BIM processes and modeling using Autodesk tools.

Prior to this, I managed BIM for the Al Nahdah Entertainment Project in Riyadh under Consolidated

 

Contractors Company, overseeing project delivery across all BIM levels (2D to 5D), managing laser scanning workflows, and coordinating model compliance, interoperability, and content production.

 

Key Competencies and Achievements:

• BIM Strategy & Execution: Proven experience developing and executing project-specific BIM strategies and BEPs per ISO 19650.
• Multidisciplinary Coordination: Leading BIM integration across architecture, structure, MEP, and construction disciplines.
• Modeling & Data Management: Oversight of federated 3D models, clash detection, and CDE governance with tools like Revit, Navisworks, Civil 3D, and BIM 360/ACC.

• Languages: Fluent in Arabic, with working proficiency in English and Greek.
• Industry Sectors: Experience in buildings (residential, commercial, hospitals), marine works, utilities, airports, Rodes, and urban infrastructure across the Middle East and Europe.
