I have cooperated extensively with Hani in the production of 4-D BIM Construction Animations. Hani has been able to directly link Primavera schedules with the BIM model, to produce 4-D animations following the time-schedule. The benefit from this process has been that when alternative method or sequence scenarios need to be reviewed by the team, we have been able to immediately visualize the schedule changes with no added BIM work. Hani has been able to visualize complex schedules in a manner that allows colleagues and clients alike to better appreciate the challenges and opportunities that our projects pose. His solid engineering design foundation which allows him to fully understand construction details, is admirably complemented by his deep knowledge of the most up-to-date BIM software to produce a professional who would add value to any construction team. However what I most admire about Hani is his continuous strive for excellence, his mentality of not settling for pure maintenance, his mindset of constant improvement, qualities that constitute a rear work ethos, most desirable in any organization.

During the past eight years I have been continuously and extensively cooperating with Hani in the preparation of technical submittals for marine works which includes production of 2D plans/sections for showing the sequencing of construction works along with 3D animations to show the proposed marine structures from different angles. Hani has been able to grasp and master, in a reasonably short period, the basic concepts for preparing and producing presentations for the various types/elements of marine structures such as Quay walls (pc blocks, sheet piles, secant piles, etc,…), Jetties (tubular steel piles with concrete deck), rock Breakwaters, Dredging/Reclamation, etc,… with all associated civil works. The above presentations prepared by Hani (2D & 3D) provided an added value to our technical submissions, for achieving high scores from the clients during tender evaluation. Hani has been capable to achieve the above standard of presentations due to a combination of his engineering capabilities and knowledge in application of advanced software programs, to which he always adds his personal innovative ideas.
